Captivating Freedom Part 19

Well here is the part that is complex to human understanding God loves all humanity.   There is no person He did not create and there is no person He doesn’t love.   He has a plan and purpose for every human being’s life.    AND it is a plan for good.  His plan is to give you a hope and a future, to prosper you and to give life to the full.   (prosper – flourish, grow)

So, I guess the next relevant question is “If all this is true, I can surely live however I want without all the do’s and don’ts, right?  Because God will love me anyway.”

Well, He does love you, however in order for God to be able to fulfil His plan for you,  you need to believe Him and be in relationship with Him.

My life was chaotic, with no rhyme or reason.   I did whatever I could in the pursuit of trying to find out who I was and where I belonged.   I created a whole world in my mind that I thought was pretty good, but I was always running, always hiding from anything and everything.

This is not what God had planned for me.   God had so much more.   There is nothing like the freedom I live in now.   I have acknowledged that God’s plan is way better than mine and the story He has for my life is so much better than any I could have created on my own.

I love the verse in Genesis where it tells us that Adam and Eve walked with God in the cool of the evening through the Garden.    It is such a serene picture and this is the relationship we were created to have with our God.  We lost that when we decided we wanted to be god.   We wanted to be the ones in charge.   I was so tired of trying so hard to fit in, to be someone the world wanted and not who I was created to be.   Now, I walk in the blessing of that. I am still on the journey – my days are still filled with the same challenges as everyone else.   I have found, however, that if I go for a walk in the garden with my Father God and talk through with Him all that I face, He gives me the strength and courage to face each challenge as it arises
