My Insta Life Part 11

My life took a completely different direction to the one I had planned.

I had applied to Bible College in Canada.   I had an apartment to live in.  I had a car.   Everything had fallen in to place and I had my life all planned out.

Just before I left to come back to Australia, there was a preacher came to the church I was attending and his name was Oswald Sanders.   He was an elderly man, but so incredibly gentle and had so much wisdom.   He preached on Knowing the Will of God for your life, it was so good and it confirmed so much of what I was feeling about the direction of my life.

I went through quite a lot of turmoil for a few weeks when I began dating my now husband.   During this period of confusion about what to do about this new man in my life, Oswald Sanders came to preach at the church I was now attending in Australia.

I spoke to him and shared with him about my confusion.    He simply said, “Just because the door is open does not always mean you are meant to walk through it.”

I immediately felt at ease and knew what I was meant to do.

Exactly one year after we met, we were married and we bought a house and started our family.

Life was pretty good.   BUT ……….
